Beginning next year (2003), I'll be on a ski-trip to Les Deux Alpes. In an attempt to find some feedback about Les Deux Alpes and the hotels/appartments therein, I went surfing the web. Suprisingly, the number of webpages found was low. Therefor, I set up this web page. I hope you find it usefull.
Here are the details about the holiday:
We'll be going to Les Deux Alpes at the beginning of next year (2003), mainly
because there is a serious price drop in that timeperiod.
We are travelling with Sportura, a small
company that also offers, apart from ski-holidays, chalet-travel, all relatively
cheap.
We will be staying in an appartment of the "Bel' Alpes" chain.
The purpose of this holiday is clear: Ski & Snowboard!
I found some interesting sites:
Skiclub is the most complete one I found. It has resort review, visitors feedback, virtual tours, snow reports and various other informations on a lot of resorts.
When you want to check the snow levels, check out Skiinfo. The site is updated daily (also available for Italy and Switserland, btw). If you want a wheather forcast, you either use snow-forecast or meteo.fr, which has a more global overview.
There are almost no webcams for Les 2 Alpes.. you can have a look a this site which has 3 cams (2 static images, one java-applet) that produce poor images. As metioned before you can find a nice "virtual tour" on skiclub.
The official site has some info on events, has a big skimap (access it directly here) and also has a very nice roadmap.

The folowing are links towards pages that contain visitor reviews about Les Deux Alpes - this helps you to get a global overview/opinion (apparantly the main elevator, "Le Jandri" is one huge queue in the morning..) and if you're lucky, you might find some feedback on the resort you're staying at.
